Cookie policy
In short
watchon.co uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. That's why there's no cookie banner: there's nothing to accept or refuse.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser and reads back on later visits. Other technologies do the same job: local storage, session storage, browser databases, tracking pixels and fingerprinting. The rules below apply to all of them.
EU and Italian law split them into two kinds:
- Technical cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, such as keeping you logged in. They don't need your consent.
- Analytics, profiling and advertising cookies, and any cookie from third parties used for their own purposes, need your prior consent.
2. What this website uses
| Type | Used on watchon.co? |
|---|---|
| Technical cookies | None |
| Analytics and statistics cookies | None |
| Profiling and advertising cookies | None |
| Third-party cookies (social media, video, maps, fonts) | None: the website loads nothing from other servers |
| Local storage, session storage, browser databases | None |
| Fingerprinting or tracking pixels | None |
Our security headers back this up: they forbid the page from loading any script, image, font or style from another website.
The “Pause animations” switch at the bottom of every page is a plain checkbox. It works only while the page is open and saves nothing, so animations play again on your next visit.
3. The one exception that isn't up to us
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, protects the website from bots and automated attacks. When it judges it necessary, it may store a security cookie in your browser:
__cf_bm: tells people from bots. It lasts 30 minutes.cf_clearance: remembers that you passed a security check, so it doesn't ask again. It lasts as long as Cloudflare's security settings say, usually from 30 minutes to a few hours, and never more than a year.
When we checked on 2 October 2026, the website set none of these cookies. They may still appear, for example during an attack.
These cookies:
- are strictly necessary for security, so the law doesn't require your consent;
- don't track you across websites and aren't used for advertising;
- expire on their own.
See Cloudflare's cookie list for details.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't change anything on this website. The browser makers' guides:
5. Changes
If we ever add something that needs your consent, we'll ask for it with a clear choice before setting anything, with “accept” and “reject” buttons just as prominent. We'll also update this page first.
